Koh Tao, meaning "Turtle Island," it's known worldwide as one of Southeast Asia's top diving and snorkeling destinations, with reefs remaining relatively pristine as the island stayed largely undeveloped until the 1980s. Just off its coast sits Koh Nangyuan, three islets connected by a single sweep of white sand — the iconic viewpoint that's become one of the most photographed spots in Thailand.
